Current Lifting Stats

Started lifting for the first time in my life (from a background of some serious muscle atrophy and chronic back pain) on 9/08. I may be lifting pathetically light weights at the moment, but hey, gotta start somewhere and get the form down!

These stats are more for personal purposes since I don’t know much of the jargon yet… but feel free to correct me on terminology!

As of 10/15:

  • Benchpress: 5 reps of 40 pounds (1RM of 45)
  • Squat: 5 reps of 55 pounds (~2 reps of 70)
  • Deadlift: 5 reps of 60 pounds

Starting (9/08)

  • Benchpress: 5 reps of 30 pounds
  • Squat: 5 reps of 35 pounds
  • Deadlift: 5 reps of 40

Goals before Thanksgiving:

  • Benchpress 40 10/08
  • Squat 60 10/15
  • Deadlift 60 10/06
