Day 17 of Higher Carb Starch Solution: April 30th

Day 17/28

I spent the day studying at home and emailing photography clients, so no particularly interesting anecdotes for today. And it was pretty hot, so I walked at night instead of running because our exercise room is horribly ventilated and stuffy.

I was craving something fun at night after all that work, so I made a single-serving carrot cake, and it was FANTASTIC. I’ll have to add that one to my (massive) recipe queue!

I usually post photos for my “atypical” foods because they’re more interesting, but here’s a fun food I have often: blueberry banana oat smoothie!


Macros: 74% carbs, 14% protein, 12% fat

Exercise: walked for 40 minutes

Breakfast

  • Blueberry banana oat smoothie
  • Coldbrew coffee

Lunch

  • Mushroom unfried rice
  • Earl grey tea

Dinner

  • Pulled BBQ carrot romaine wraps
  • Roasted russet with pinto bean dip

Night snack

  • Carrot cake

Calories eaten: 1800 | Calories burned: 1570 (according to Fitbit data)
