Day 5/23

I had to take the GRE psychology subject test this morning, so my macros aren’t on point due to the protein bars I ate to get through it–the total exam experience was four grueling hours long. But hopefully that’s the last standardized test I’ll ever have to take!

In happier news, I tried store bought gnocchi for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve made my own in the past, but that’s ridiculously time consuming… this stuff literally took 2 minutes! I combined it with some low fat pesto I made awhile ago and froze for occasions like these, which made for an instant HCLF comfort food dinner.

This would be a good St Patrick’s day dinner…

Macros: 63% carbs, 21% protein, 15% fat

Exercise: walked 3 miles + jogged for 30 minutes

Breakfast

  • Banana oatmeal with homemade cocoa granola
  • Clif bar

Lunch

  • Blueberry D’s no-cow bar
  • Baked russet potato and salad

Dinner

  • Whole wheat gnocchi with pesto and broccoli

Post-Run:

  • Pear and a date

Calories: ~1650  |  Protein: 96g  |  Fiber: 55g   |   Fat: 29g
