October 7th Food Diary

Net calories – 1050

Was so grateful for the breeze today–it made walking around a bit more bearable. So much so, in fact, that even walking around a bunch for class, I got the urge to walk a mile to my favorite cafe! I changed my usual order from a looseleaf earl grey to a Pu-erh tea for the first time since I’d been curious about it, and it was delicious, and delightfully pink.

Unfortunately, it made me jittery like coffee does, so I may have to get myself a decaf version next time!

I also decided I might try Nanowrimo this year–that is, national novel writing month, which is where you try to write 50k words of a novel during the month of November. Since I’ve been into planning a new story lately, I think I might do a modified version where I start this month and actually edit it and care about the quality as I go! (A hallmark characteristic of classic nanowrimo is that you’re supposed to be churning out large amounts of low quality writing, but my perfectionist self just can’t do things that way.)

Another highlight of the day: came up with a healthy chocolate chip protein cookie recipe. It was so delicious, I ate 7–no shame. Plus I went for a run so I couldn’t feel too bad 🙂

I’ll elaborate on them tomorrow when I try a slightly different baking method!
