Day 3 Food Diary (8/29)

Two of my friends had birthdays, I wanted to thank a friend for driving my photo studio equipment to school for me, and I wanted to give a little welcome home present to my friends who always get apartments right next to me (they’re guys so we couldn’t room together 😦 )… so because I’m a baker, it naturally meant cookie-making time. I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist at least tasting one so I factored that in before planning my food for the day. I was going to make curry for dinner, but wasn’t particularly hungry so I just went with soup.

I marinated some feta-style tofu for another salad, but next time I’m going to try my own ingredients instead of following a recipe since it was a tad drab.

I walked 2 miles to a cafe, and walked around to deliver my cookies to friends, then worked out–I ended up walking 6.5 miles/15,000 steps!



  • Apple and almond butter: 270


  • Salad with lemon tofu, tomatoes, and cucumbers: 250
  • Caramel corn rice cake with almond butter: 170


  • Tofu mushroom soup: 65


  • Earl grey tea with soy: 60
  • Coffee with soy creamer: 15
  • Chocolate chip cookie: 325

  1. Hi there! I don’t know what your goals are, but if your goals have anything to do with adding muscle (even just a little) and appearing more “tone” then up your protein intake! Just a suggestion, I don’t know your goals or anything so I don’t want to step on your toes. Great blog, and that tofu looks Delish!
