Day 23 was my first day starting summer classes (on Tuesdays & Thursdays) at the UC school in my hometown. I originally had 7 hours of straight class time from 8am to 3pm, but the professors were really laid back and gave us breaks throughout! Luckily, I didn’t use my newfound lunch hour to binge–I sought out the first salad-selling restaurant I could find at the food court: Subway.
Not to mention, there are lovely little coffee stands all over campus that I’m definitely going to be frequenting! And even better, going to all of these classes requires a lot of walking, so my Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be great days for my waistline.
Even though I ate so little calorie-wise, I ended up feeling much better than on days where I binge on unhealthy foods and eat infrequently. Small snacks/meals dispersed throughout the day is the way to go!
